Asthma & Allergy Foundation of America, Texas Chapter

History

The Asthma & Allergy Foundation of America, Texas Chapter, was founded in 1998 by a local group of interested health professionals, patients and citizens realizing that the need for educating patients goes beyond the doctor's office visit. AAFA-TX is a chapter of the national organization, AAFA, founded in 1953 and located in Washington, DC. A grass-roots organization, AAFA-TX is governed by a Board of Directors consisting of physicians and other medical professionals, educators, business professionals and citizens of diverse cultures and economic status throughout Texas. Our financial support comes through grants, donations, memorials and memberships.

Mission Statement

The mission of the Asthma and Allergy Foundation of America, Texas Chapter (formerly North Texas Chapter), a 501-c-3 non-profit organization, is to help asthma and allergy sufferers to successfully manage and control their diseases through education, information, training and referrals.
